Get Involved
Thank you to our volunteers –
we’ve accomplished so much because of you!
But despite our success, our lake is still threatened by aquatic invasive plants and there's more to be done.
CLA is powered by volunteers and we need more help. Be it for an hour, an afternoon, all summer long, year round, remotely or in Maine, we value and appreciate any time you can give.
Volunteering with CLA is a great way to give back to the lake while making new friends in our community!
Please review the options below and email lakecobb1@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering or if you have any questions. Thanks in advance!
Help extend the critical surveying work of Friends of Cobbossee Watershed. Friends will provide the training and tools you'll need. Paddle an assigned section of shoreline for invasive plants; mark and report any suspicious plant to Friends and they'll do the rest.
Call Dennis Pollock 413-441-4062 or Barry Nyer 508-596-1120 for more information.
